In the last posts I setup WDS and configured MDT 2010 ready for the deployment of Windows 7. The next step is to create a task sequence which will tell the bare metal PC what to install.
Setting Up The Task Sequence
Check the summary page and click Next to complete the task sequence.
Once this is all finished you can launch you bare metal PC and install Windows 7 using the task sequence you have just setup. The video below shows you the steps to complete this.
There is no audio on this video
You will notice when you have watched the video that there are a lot of screens to enter details into. The next post in this series will explain how to remove these screens

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

I like your post very much too, I am trying to set up a deployment environment right now. Sadly the most troublesome part for me is understanding the interaction between the customconfig.ini (mentioned later), the Task sequence and the attached unattend.xml – why are there so many ways to edit settings like partitions???
I would really appreciate some help on this, anyway keep up the good work!
